I’m Steve Lunden, a portrait photographer based in Minneapolis, MN. Photography isn’t just my job—it’s my passion, my way of connecting with people, and the way I help preserve legacies in every frame. Whether it’s a high school senior stepping into their next chapter, a business professional looking for a bold new headshot, or a family freezing a moment in time, I believe that photography is about telling your story with honesty and authenticity.
How It Started
I grew up in West Springfield, MA, where my love for photography was sparked by everyday moments—family gatherings, road trips, and capturing the little things that often go unnoticed. After over 20 years in the hospitality industry, working everywhere from behind the bar to restaurant management, I realized that my true passion was in capturing people’s real expressions, raw emotions, and genuine personalities through photography.
I took that leap, started Steve Lunden Photography LLC, and never looked back.
